FDA Issues Boxed Warning for Clopidogrel
The FDA has added a Boxed Warning to clopidogrel (Plavix®), the anti-blood clotting medication. The Boxed Warning is relevant to patients who do no effectively metabolize the drug and therefore may not receive its full benefits. For more information, click here.

FDA Alert on Clopidogrel and Proton Pump Inhibitors
The FDA is alerting the public to new safety information concerning an interaction between clopidogrel, an anti-clotting medication, and omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce stomach acid.
